Privacy Policy

Overview

FastExchange is designed to work without an account. We do not run ads, do not use analytics SDKs, and do not track you across apps or websites.

Data FastExchange Uses

Local app data

The app stores your selected currencies, quick conversion amounts, cached exchange rates, display preferences, location suggestion setting, and premium access state on your device. This data is used for app and widget functionality and is not sent to our servers.

Optional location data

If you turn on location-based currency suggestions, iOS location services are used to detect the country you are in and suggest the local currency. FastExchange does not store precise location history and does not send your location to our own servers. The app stores the last suggested country and currency locally to avoid repeated suggestions.

Exchange-rate requests

FastExchange requests exchange-rate data from open.er-api.com for the selected base currency. Like most internet requests, the provider may receive technical information such as your IP address and request metadata.

Purchases

FastExchange+ purchases and restore-purchase requests are handled by Apple's App Store systems through StoreKit. FastExchange receives purchase entitlement status needed to unlock premium features.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with advertisers or data brokers. Exchange-rate data requests are made to ExchangeRate-API, and purchases are processed by Apple.

Retention and Deletion

Local settings and cached data remain on your device until you change them, delete the app, or iOS removes them. You can disable location suggestions in the app at any time.

Children's Privacy

FastExchange is not intended to collect personal information from children. The app does not include account creation, social features, or advertising.
